Privacy Policy

This is the privacy policy for KX Works ("we", "us", or "our"). This policy describes how information is handled on kxworks.dev, in its browser game demos, and in our mobile applications, including Find 5 Differences: No Timer (找不同：5处不同不限时), Spin!, Street Corner Mahjong (街角雀馆 / 街角麻雀), Melody 2048 and Mewo 2048. Data practices differ between products and versions. The mobile services described for Melody 2048 do not automatically apply to Street Corner Mahjong, Spin!, browser demos, Mewo 2048 or Find 5 Differences: No Timer. Websites and tools linked from our portfolio have their own privacy policies.

1. Website and Browser Games

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and usage. It uses cookies and processes information such as pages visited, referring websites, browser and device information, and interactions. This information is sent to Google for analytics. We do not send game saves or payment details through this website analytics code. You can block analytics cookies through your browser settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Learn more about how Google processes information from sites that use its services.

You can browse this website and play its demos without creating an account. Some games store scores, progress, preferences or tutorial state in your browser's local storage. This storage is used to remember your game experience; clearing site data in your browser removes it and may reset your progress.

The website does not embed the mobile advertising, purchase or Firebase services described below. Our hosting and content-delivery providers receive technical request information, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and access time, to deliver pages and resources and maintain service security. These requests are separate from the game data stored in your browser.

2. Mobile Game Data

Our games do not require a separate KX Works account. Game saves and preferences are stored on your device. Device or operating-system backups may retain or restore local data under your own backup settings. Local saves are separate from the service data described below.

Mewo 2048: the current initial Android release stores progress, preferences and a limited recent gameplay-event history on the device. These local events are not sent to our servers or a remote analytics platform. This version has no advertising SDKs, remote analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, account login, cloud saves, in-app purchases or subscriptions. Website visits and support email are separate from these offline app features. Read the dedicated Mewo 2048 Privacy Policy or its 中文版本; the original policy linked from the app and store remains available.

Street Corner Mahjong (街角雀馆 / 街角麻雀): matches and recovery backups, settings, tutorial state, play activity, statistics and supported profile choices are stored locally. The game does not require a KX Works account and has no cross-device cloud-save service. Android or device backup features may copy and restore local game data according to your settings. The browser game does not load native advertising or Firebase services. The advertising-enabled Android version includes Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform. Some Android versions also use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Remote Config. See the dedicated Street Corner Mahjong Privacy Policy or its 中文版本 for available services and controls.

Opening website links is subject to the website data practices described in section 1. The app does not include game saves, settings or statistics in those links.

Melody 2048: mobile versions with the services below enabled process advertising, usage, diagnostic and purchase information in addition to local game saves. The available services depend on your app version, platform and configuration.

Melody 2048 uses Google's User Messaging Platform for advertising consent and, where required, provides advertising privacy options in Settings. These controls are separate from Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. Android versions with Google Play Games services enabled can check existing sign-in status and, when signed in, send achievement progress and leaderboard scores to Google. This does not provide cloud backup of the complete game save. See the dedicated Melody 2048 Privacy Policy or its 中文版本 for data categories, available controls and deletion requests.

Find 5 Differences: No Timer

Scope and local data. This section applies to the Android app Find 5 Differences: No Timer (找不同：5处不同不限时). It does not require a KX Works account. Progress, completed levels, found targets, elapsed time, mistake and hint counts, language and sound preferences, and downloaded level images are stored on your device to support continued and offline play. Images may be removed from the cache to manage storage. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes current local app data; this does not automatically delete cloud saves or information already processed by Google.

Level downloads. The app downloads or preloads level content through our content-delivery services. Our hosting and delivery providers process IP addresses and other necessary network information to deliver content and maintain service security. These download requests do not include game saves or tap coordinates.

Usage analytics. Android versions use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand gameplay and improve reliability. Analytics is enabled by default; the current app has no separate in-app analytics switch. It processes gameplay and usage records, such as level progress, playtime, mistakes and hint use, together with loading and sync status. Google may also process app-instance identifiers, device and app information, automatic usage events and approximate region inferred from IP. The app does not send level images, tap coordinates, complete game saves, email addresses or game-account identifiers through its custom analytics events. The analytics configuration disables advertising-ID collection and ad personalization; this does not disable usage analytics or the separate advertising service. Optional Google Play Games. Versions offering Google Play Games let you connect your Google account for cloud saves and achievements. Google processes account authentication and game records to sync level progress and necessary gameplay state, and to update achievements. Cloud saves do not include level images, tap coordinates or email addresses. You can play without connecting; local play and local saves remain available if the service is unavailable or sync fails. Google processes account and cloud records under its own service rules.

Advertising and choices. Android versions use Google AdMob for banner, native and optional rewarded ads. Google may process IP addresses and approximate location, app and ad interactions, diagnostics, and device or account identifiers for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present advertising choices where required before requesting ads. Where available, the home screen's advertising privacy options let you review or update your choices. Advertising choices are separate from Analytics and Play Games and do not switch off those services. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads data disclosure.

Retention and requests. Local data remains until cleared, replaced or removed; image-cache files may be evicted automatically. Google service records are retained according to service purposes, account or project settings, provider policies and applicable obligations. Clearing local data or removing the app is not a request to delete those records. For privacy or deletion requests, contact [email protected] and identify Find 5 Differences: No Timer. We may need information to identify the relevant records and may direct you to Google for records it controls. The support, international processing, security and rights information in sections 6–10 also applies.

Spin!（转盘！）：随机选择、分组与分配

本地数据：Spin the Wheel: Decision Maker（Spin!）不要求注册 KX Works 账号。转盘与选项、抽取历史、分组或分配名单、偏好设置及轮次状态保存在设备上；其中可能包含你输入的人名或物品名称。应用不会把这些内容上传到 KX Works 服务器。设备或操作系统备份可能按你的设置备份或恢复这些数据。

使用统计：启用统计的 Android 版本使用 Google Analytics for Firebase 了解页面访问、抽取、分组、保存和分享等功能的使用情况。统计默认开启，可在 Settings（设置）中关闭 Basic usage statistics（基础使用统计）；该开关与广告隐私选择独立。应用不通过这些事件上传姓名、选项文字、名单、抽取结果文字或分享内容，详细数据处理说明见 Spin! 专属隐私政策。

购买与适用人群：当前版本不提供应用内购买或订阅。Spin! 面向 18 岁及以上成年人，目前不执行年龄验证。

保留与删除：你可以在应用内清除抽取历史或删除已保存转盘；要移除名单、偏好及其他本地状态，可在 Android 设置中清除应用存储。卸载应用会移除当前本地存储，设备或云端备份需另行管理。清除本地数据或卸载应用不会自动删除 Google 已处理的信息。如需提出隐私请求，请联系 [email protected] 并注明 Spin!；完整说明见 Spin! 专属隐私政策。

3. Mobile Advertising

Advertising-enabled Android versions of Street Corner Mahjong use Google AdMob for ads between game sessions or when returning to the game, depending on the version. Melody 2048 mobile versions also use Google AdMob, including rewarded ads.

Google's advertising SDK automatically processes and shares the device's IP address, which can be used to estimate approximate location; app and ad interactions such as app launches, taps and video views; diagnostic information about the app and SDK; and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID. Google states that it uses these data for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, security and compliance. These data are separate from Street Corner Mahjong's local game saves, settings and statistics, which the app does not add to ad requests.

Street Corner Mahjong uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request current consent information when the advertising-enabled Android app starts. Where required for the user's region or message configuration, it displays a consent message before requesting ads and provides an in-app advertising privacy entry point when Google reports that one is required. Ad personalization and the ads that can be requested depend on the user's choices, device settings, region and available controls.

Where available, users can review or change their choices through the app's advertising privacy entry point and can reset or delete the Android advertising ID through device settings. Choosing non-personalized or limited ads, or changing the advertising ID, does not necessarily stop ads or all technical, measurement, analytics, diagnostic or fraud-prevention processing. Removing the app does not automatically erase information already processed by an advertising provider.

4. Mobile Analytics, Crash Reports and Remote Configuration

Melody 2048 uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app usage and improve the game, and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose failures. When these services are enabled, they process app or installation identifiers, device and app-version information, usage events, and crash or error details. Usage events can include gameplay, feature use and advertising interactions; diagnostic reports can include error messages and stack traces. Some Android versions of Street Corner Mahjong also use Firebase Analytics for usage and game events, Crashlytics for failures and Remote Config for advertising configuration. Versions without these services and the browser demo do not perform this native Firebase processing.

These services transmit information to Google; local game saves do not mean that all app data stays on your device. Ad privacy controls apply to advertising and are not a general switch for analytics or crash reporting. See Firebase privacy and security information and the Google Privacy Policy.

Current Street Corner Mahjong versions offering usage analytics enable it by default and retain your existing choice. Where available, the Settings entry “使用統計” lets you disable analytics without affecting play. This does not disable Crashlytics or Remote Config, and the app currently has no separate crash-reporting switch. Usage events do not include nicknames, complete hands or match saves. Remote Config processes installation identifiers and technical app/device information to deliver advertising settings. See the product-specific policy for details.

5. Melody 2048 Purchases

In mobile versions offering in-app purchases, the app store processes the payment. RevenueCat manages purchase validation, product access and restoration of eligible purchases. It processes an app user identifier, purchase or transaction records, product identifiers and entitlement status, together with technical information needed to provide the service. You do not need to create a KX Works account for this identifier to exist.

We do not receive your full payment-card details from the app store. Purchase records are separate from local game progress and can remain with the store and purchase service after an app is removed. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and the privacy information of the store used for your purchase.

6. Support and Service Providers

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot and handle your request. Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information.

The hosting, advertising, analytics, diagnostic, purchase and email providers described in this policy process information to perform their respective services. Information may be processed in countries outside your own, according to the applicable service terms and privacy protections. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to address security or legal claims.

7. Retention and Security

Browser and device saves remain until removed, replaced or cleared by you, the app, the browser or the operating system. Backups may have separate retention settings. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable obligations. Advertising, analytics, diagnostic and purchase records are retained according to the service's purpose, applicable settings, provider policies and legal requirements; uninstalling an app does not automatically erase these records.

We use HTTPS for this website. The service providers described above publish their own security practices. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your Choices and Data Deletion

• Browser data: clear stored site data for kxworks.dev in your browser. This may remove scores, preferences and saved progress across its demos.
• Mobile game data: clear the app's storage where supported or remove the app, and review device/cloud backups separately if you want to remove backed-up copies.
• Advertising: use the app's available ad privacy controls and your device's advertising-ID settings. These actions do not erase all previously processed data.
• Requests to us: email [email protected] with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and the affected product. We may need information to identify the relevant records, and will handle requests within applicable legal deadlines. We cannot identify every installation from an email address alone.
• Provider records: we will handle requests concerning data processed on our behalf and, where appropriate, help direct you to the relevant provider or app store for records they control. Purchase and other records may need to be retained for legal obligations.

There is no separate KX Works account profile to delete. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent where applicable, or complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us to make a request.

9. Children's Privacy

Our products are not primarily directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Parents and guardians should review the individual app's store listing and available privacy controls.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update this policy when our products or data practices change. Updates are posted here with a revised date, and additional notice or consent will be provided where required.
