This policy explains how information is handled by Spin the Wheel: Decision Maker, displayed on your device as Spin! (package name dev.kxworks.spin). Spin! is provided by KX Works ("we", "us", or "our"). Contact us at [email protected].
1. Information stored on your device
Spin! does not require a KX Works account. The wheels and options you create, draw history, grouping or allocation lists (which may include names of people or items), preferences, and round state are stored locally on your device using app storage. We do not operate a server that receives or stores this content.
Your operating system or a backup service you enable may back up or restore app data under its own settings. That processing is controlled by the operating system or backup provider.
When you choose to share, Spin! can create a PNG image or send wheel, grouping, allocation, or result text through Android's system share sheet. You can also actively copy text to the system clipboard. The destination app or clipboard service you choose handles that content under its own privacy practices. KX Works does not receive the shared or copied content through its own server.
2. Advertising
The Android app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and may request banner ads. The SDK and Google services may process technical data when an ad request is made, including IP address (which may be used to infer approximate location), device and app information, advertising or other device identifiers, app interactions such as launches or taps, ad interactions, and diagnostic information. Google uses this information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and maintain its services.
Spin! uses Google's User Messaging Platform to check advertising privacy requirements and present consent choices where required. When privacy options are required, you can review them through Settings > Ad privacy. If the privacy service cannot be reached, that entry can also offer a retry. Ads are requested only when the SDK permits them; declining consent may still allow limited ads. You can also use the advertising controls available in Android and your Google account. Available choices depend on your region and device.

3. Purchases
The current version does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions and does not integrate Google Play Billing.
4. App usage statistics
Android versions with analytics enabled use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand feature use and improve the app. Usage statistics are on by default, and collection starts after launch according to your saved preference. The service may process app-instance identifiers, device and app-version information, sessions and screen views, and events for picking, grouping, saving, reuse, sharing and operation failures. Custom events include the mode, option or participant counts, duration and fixed status values.
Our app does not send names, wheel titles, option text, list content, result text, shared text or images, clipboard content or arbitrary error details through these custom events, and does not set an account User ID. The analytics configuration disables advertising storage, advertising user data and ad-personalization signals. AdMob's separate processing is described in the advertising section above.
You can turn off Basic usage statistics in Settings to stop new usage-statistics collection. Turning it off does not automatically delete information already sent. This setting is separate from Ad privacy. Information is sent to Google; see Firebase privacy and security information and the Google Privacy Policy. Spin! does not currently include a KX Works account, cloud save or Firebase Crashlytics. Local wheel, history, grouping and allocation content is not sent to AdMob by our app code.
5. Support messages
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond and troubleshoot your request. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or other information that is not needed for support.
6. This policy website
This Spin! policy page does not load Google Analytics, advertising scripts, or app SDKs. When you open the page, our hosting and content-delivery providers receive ordinary request information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and access time so they can deliver and protect the website. Website request logs are separate from the content stored in Spin! on your device.
7. Retention and deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you remove it through the app, clear the app's storage, uninstall the app, or it is otherwise removed by your device or operating system. Device or cloud backups may have separate retention settings.
Google and other service providers retain information according to their own service purposes, settings, policies, and legal obligations. Uninstalling Spin! does not automatically delete information already processed by those providers. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle requests and applicable obligations; we do not promise a fixed retention period.
8. Your choices
- Draw history: use the clear-history control in Spin!.
- Other local app data: delete saved wheels using their available in-app controls. To remove grouping or allocation lists, preferences, and other local state that has no separate delete control, clear Spin!'s storage or data in Android settings. Uninstalling the app removes its local active storage, subject to any device or cloud backups you have enabled.
- Usage statistics: turn off Basic usage statistics in Settings to stop new usage-statistics collection. This does not automatically delete data already sent.
- Advertising controls: where available, open Settings > Ad privacy in Spin! to review your choices. You can also use Android and Google account advertising controls. These controls do not necessarily erase data already processed by Google.
- Privacy requests: email [email protected] and identify Spin! in your request. Because Spin! has no KX Works account and we do not receive your local wheel content, we may not be able to identify an installation or recover device-only data from an email address.
9. Adults only
Spin! is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. The app does not currently perform age verification. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a support message, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. International processing and security
Google and our website and email providers may process information in countries outside your own under their applicable terms and safeguards. This website uses HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app, service providers, or data practices change. The effective date at the top shows when this version took effect.
