Melody 2048 Privacy Policy

Effective: October 18, 2026

This policy explains how Melody 2048: Swipe a Melody (Android package com.kx.melody2048) handles information. The game is provided by KX Works ("we", "us", or "our"). Contact [email protected] with privacy questions. Services may vary by version and platform; the descriptions below apply to versions with the corresponding services enabled.

1. Local Progress and Settings

The game does not require a separate KX Works account. Board state, scores, song progress, unlocked content, in-game resources, achievement progress and preferences are saved on your device. Device or operating-system backup services may back up or restore this information according to your settings. Clearing app storage may remove local progress.

Local saves do not mean that all data stays on your device. The advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, purchase and game services below process information for their respective purposes.

2. Advertising and Privacy Choices

Android versions use Google AdMob to provide ads, including optional rewarded ads. The advertising SDK may process your IP address and approximate location inferred from it, device and app information, advertising or other device identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and protect service security.

The game uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to check advertising privacy requirements and display consent forms where required by your region and the message configuration. Ads are requested only when the SDK permits them. When Google requires privacy options, you can review your choices through the advertising privacy options in Settings. You can also use Android's advertising-ID controls.

Choosing non-personalized or limited ads, or changing your advertising ID, does not stop all technical, measurement, diagnostic or fraud-prevention processing. Advertising privacy options are not a general switch for Firebase analytics or crash reporting. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads data disclosure.

3. Usage Analytics and Crash Reports

The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand gameplay and feature use, and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose failures. These services may process app or installation identifiers, device and app-version information, usage events, and error or crash details. Events include gameplay, song or theme use, and advertising or purchase interactions. Diagnostic reports may include error messages and stack traces.

These data are sent to Google to improve the experience and stability. The current app settings do not include separate analytics or crash-reporting switches. This processing is separate from the local board save. See Firebase privacy and security information.

4. In-App Purchases

Google Play processes payments. RevenueCat validates transactions, manages product access and restores eligible purchases. It processes an app user identifier, transaction and product records, entitlement status, and technical information needed for these services. A purchase service may assign an identifier to an app installation even without a separate KX Works account.

We do not receive full payment-card details from the store. Use Restore Purchases in Settings to restore eligible entitlements; consumable products may not be restorable. Removing the app or clearing progress does not automatically erase records held by the store or purchase service. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy and the relevant Google Play information.

5. Google Play Games Services

Android versions with Google Play Games services enabled check existing sign-in status and provide a sign-in entry point. When signed in, the game can send achievement unlocks, achievement progress and leaderboard scores to Google. Google processes identity and game activity data according to your Play Games profile, account settings and its policies.

The game does not receive your Google account password. Achievements and leaderboards do not provide a cloud backup of the complete board save. Available features depend on the version, service configuration and sign-in status. Manage the relevant account, profile and data controls through Google Play Games or Google Account settings.

6. Support, Website and Service Providers

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send, and use them to respond and handle your request. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information.

When you open a product page or this policy, hosting and content-delivery services receive technical request information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and access time to deliver the page and maintain security. Website analytics are described in the KX Works Privacy Policy. Website visits are separate from the app's advertising and Firebase services.

The providers described above may process information outside your country, under their service terms and privacy protections. We may also disclose information where legally required or necessary to address security or legal requests.

7. Retention and Security

Local data remains until you, the app or the operating system remove or replace it. Backups may have separate retention settings. Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle requests and meet applicable obligations. Advertising, analytics, diagnostic, game-service and purchase records are retained according to each service's purpose, settings, provider policies and legal requirements. Uninstalling the app does not automatically erase information already processed by third parties.

This website uses HTTPS. No transmission or storage method can guarantee complete security; each service provider publishes its own security practices.

8. Your Choices and Deletion Requests

  • Device data: clear app storage through Android settings or uninstall the app, and review device or cloud backups separately. Local progress, in-game resources and settings may become unrecoverable.
  • Advertising: use the available in-app advertising privacy options and device advertising-ID controls. These actions do not erase all previously processed information.
  • Google Play Games: manage your profile, sign-in and related data through the settings provided by Google Play Games or your Google Account. Clearing local progress does not automatically remove submitted achievements or leaderboard records.
  • Privacy requests: email [email protected] and identify Melody 2048. We may need information to locate the relevant records and will handle requests within applicable legal deadlines. An email address alone may not identify an app installation.

We handle requests for data under our responsibility and, where appropriate, help you contact the provider or store controlling other records. Some transaction or other records may need to be retained for legal obligations. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent where applicable, and complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Children's Privacy

This product is not primarily directed to children, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Parents and guardians should review the store rating, features and available privacy controls.

10. Updates and Contact

We may update this policy when the product or data practices change, revise the date shown here, and provide additional notice or seek consent where required.
